Need help with sewing machine repairs! (E+R Classic NT21 model)?
I have an E + R Classic NT21 model sewing machine, I've had it for a couple of years now, and rarely used it until now. I've never had a problem on it, but when I was sewing with it last, the needle stopped moving and there was a large knot in the bobbin area. After untangling the knot, my needle became out of alignment with the bobbin and now every time the needle goes down it knocks off the bobbin's holder, making it bend. I don't want it to break.
I hope this all makes sense and can you suggest any help, or how much it would cost to get something like that fix and where i should go?

Replace the bad needle and clean and oil the machine per the manual. IIRC, this machine is old enough to require oiling regularly. Use sewing machine oil only, not WD-40 type stuff (solvent, not a lubricant) nor 3-in-1 type oils (which thicken and freeze the machine head).
