Everly is believed to be named after a Chicago, Milwaukee & St. Paul Railroad conductor or a surveyor when it was surveyed and platted in 1884. The town was originally called Clark. **All textual content and photos by Amelia Painter.

The Hap Ketelsen Community Center is a new, clean, smoke free, spacious building to suite your needs.  Ideal from your Business meetings, Seminars, Reunions, Lectures, Parties, Weddings, Receptions, Showers, Graduations and much more.   A large room that seats 400 at tables, a 38’ by 17’ small room and “caterer kitchen.  A staffed bar is available. 

**Built in 2000 with a donation from Evertek, United Farmers Telephone Co. and by a monetary donation from Hap Ketelsen.

                Remember a loved one!  Paving bricks are $50.00 each and can be in memory of a loved one or a special date, quote etc. Each brick has 3 lines, 13 letters max per line. These bricks will be a walkway to the new section of Playground. Click here for order form you can print.

A 36 acre nature area located 1 1/2 miles east and 1/2 mile south of Everly is adding camp sites and making all types of park improvements!  Currently available at the park are pit toilets, picnicking areas, a swimming beach, drinking water, a shelter house and pond fishing.
