The Brother project runway sewing machine PC-210 is a computerized machine with features for both the beginner and the experienced seamstress. The LED display screen shows which one of the 50 stitch patterns you have selected. The needle position change function allows you to precisely move the needle to the left or center so you can place your stitch exactly where you want it.
The Brother project runway Pc-210 also features automatic button holes, automatic reverse/reinforcement stitch and needle stop position control, presser foot pressure adjustment and a presser foot leveling button. Other key features include the ability to adjust the stitch length and width, six-point feed dogs for different types of material and an advanced needle threading system. A hard cover is included for storage when not in use and you get a 25 year limited warranty.

Most of the reviews we found for the Brother Project Runway PC-210 were positive. Owners of the machine were very impressed with how smooth and quite it is as well as how user friendly it is. The automatic needle threader performs flawlessly and the machine is very precise. It makes excellent button holes and has the power to sew through several layers of leather and heavy denim without complaining.
It is also impossible to jam the machine because it automatically checks everything and if there is a problem it will display an error code notifying you of any issues that need corrected.
The built in tray is perfect for storing all the feet and other items giving the machine a clean, sleek look and the manual is reported to be excellent.You can adjust the sewing speed to very very slow which makes it great for beginners and for teaching kids.
The only complaints we found about this sewing machine were one owner wished it had a better light and another owner complained because there is no feeder directly behind the needle which can cause the fabric to occasionally get stuck.

thread tension on brother off?
the thread tension on my brother pc 210 is off. i am able to see the bottom thread on the top side of the fabric. i have adjusted the tension on the upper thread and have not had an improved result. any suggestions on how adjust the tension so that the upper thread and lower thread are even? what are the standard tension settings that are used? i am sewing together 2 pieces of quilters weight cotton. thanks
Answer:
More than likely, (1) either the bobbin thread is not feeding in the correct direction from the bobbin spool, (2) the thread is not seated into the tension gauge on the side of the bobbin case, (3) or, if this is a vertical bobbin, the bobbin case may not be correctly inserted into the shuttle race.
Refer to your instruction manual for the bobbin placement in the bobbin case and the maintenance section should give you a better graphic of how the bobbin case is placed into the shuttle race.
Always have the needle at it's highest position when removing or placing the bobbin case into the shuttle race so the arm on the bobbin case can be easily matched up with the slot in the race.
In addition, always make sure the presser foot is up when threading the machine.
