Need advice on a new sewing machine! Brother/Baby Lock or Viking?
In search for a middle-of-the-road heavy duty sewing machine to replace the old one. Some embrodiery stitches ok, but my gosh! The prices out there now are so high! Trying to find the best value for no more than $2,000. Between the Brother-Baby Lock or White brand VS. the Viking brand... Anyone have expereince in this? Thank you in advance!!
Answer:
I have a Baby Lock Crafter's Choice and it's fine for me. I've made curtains, pillows, tote bags, pillow cases, throw blankets, Halloween costumes and hemmed jeans. I find that it's a basic machine that works well and does well even through thick fabric. I don't sew very often but it has and does all the basic stuff.
