Sewing has today transcended to a passion than a profession among many people. Women sewing baby quilts and regular mending were common events of yore. But today both young and old people are learning sewing for reasons as varying as their age. Still others find it as a hobby and some take it up professionally. But this brings the question as which is the best sewing machine for beginners.
As in any other art, sewing also demands basic knowledge before taking it on. Thankfully there are a remarkable set of sewing machines in the market available. They are really helpful due to their acquaintance with various era machines.
Wal-Mart, Sears etc. Some of them also have the sales personnel to show you the basics on the machine. Whichever the brand, always get their basic or earlier versions as they will be simpler and easy to handle. Before making your final decision make sure you try your hand at the machine. Money cannot always be a good judge, so don't run behind the cheapest machines ending up with a whole lot of wrecked up screws and tools to handle on your own.
Never make a decision solely on price tags as the cheap ones may malfunction very quickly with you running to find its service center. Initially invest in mechanical ones that can help you in achieving maximum speed control and proper positioning of needle. I lost the bobbin case to my Brother sewing machine. I have been trying to find a bobbin case to fit it on the internet but when I type in the model number of my machine I cant find anything for it. I have checked and rechecked to make sure I didn't typo the model number but still nothing.
