Welcoming A New Family Member
A new family member can be an exciting time. It is one thing to be a parent to one child. When you have two or more children, you face more challenges. You will also face more rewards. Here are some things that may help to make the transition a little easier.
You will have unique challenges if have children very close together. Looking after a small child when pregnant can be difficult. You already have plenty of things to occupy your time. Each new child does not come with an instruction manual. Many things will be learned, in the field.
There are some good things to say about a second child. You may know what to expect. A good place to work on is the new brother, sister, or both. Long before the child is born, they need to know what is transpiring. They also need to know that they are still loved and accepted.
Whenever possible, make them a part of the process. For example, you are out shopping. Let the children help you decide between a normal car seat and a Graco Snugride infant car seat. This will make them feel like they matter. This is a big event in their lives. It may be bigger than you can imagine.
Inform the kids of their new sibling as soon as you can. They have a right to know. They are as much a part of the family, as you are. It is not fair to keep important information from them.
Will room situations change when the baby arrives? This can be a big adjustment for anyone. Give them as much time as you can. The more time they have, the easier the adjustment will be.
Two brothers or sisters may suddenly be sharing a room. Perhaps they had their own rooms, before. They may feel resentful. Let them participate in the changes. For example, let them change the color of the walls. Maybe they can help decorate the new room.
Whenever possible, find ways to include everyone in the new family situation. You do not want anything to be a surprise, like period pregnant. Things will run more smoothly, with fewer surprises.

It has never been used.
I also have a super nintendo in it's original box complete with instruction manual and a super Mario brothers game. Is any of this worth holding on to?

You could list it on Boardgame Geek. They have a section for the original "Monopoly: German" at: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/28638/monopoly-german. The first one came out in the 1930's, but they have no e-bay listings attached to it. I'd put it on the site and see what kind of bids you start receiving. There is a list of other versions of Monopoly on the site at this link to give you an idea of where you might want to start the bidding at. Go to http://www.boardgamegeek.com/geeksearch.php?action=search&objecttype=boardgame&q=Monopoly and look at some of the older versions. At the bottom of the descriptions they list available games to bid on.
The Nintendo game probably isn't worth much. I'd find a local 'Gamestop' shop and bring it in. They can tell you what it's worth and if it's something they will purchase to resell.
