The Brother PC-420 Project Runway Sewing machine is a computerized machine that has a total of 294 utility and decorative stitches. The variety of stitches include 10 different automated button holes as well as 3 lettering styles each with 55 alphanumeric characters. You can even design your own custom stitches using the LCD screen and save them in the machines built in memory so they are quickly accessable. The direct stitch selection buttons make it easy to choose your stitch at the touch of a button.
The Brother PC-420 Project Runway also features an advanced needle-threading system, programmable thread trimmer, dual needle function, adjustable digital stitch length and width and a knee lift which raises the pressure foot if you need to reposition the fabric. This machine is tailored to the beginner or professional creative sewer who wants to custom tailor there own fashion designs.

Brother PC-420 Project Runway Reviews
The Brother PC-420 Project Runway is similar to the PC-210 but with a lot more features. We found nothing but positive reviews for this sewing machine and owners really do love it. It is very quite when in use and it sews like a dream. The user friendliness of the machine and the excellent manual make it easy to get sewing right away.
The automatic threader and auto bobbin pull up work perfectly and save time when you need to start sewing. It has plenty of power to sew through multiple layers of fabric or thick leather without a problem. In fact it has so much power one owner of the sewing machine said it actually sewed right into a pin, bent it in half and pushed it into the machine.
There are a ton of accessories with the Brother PC-420 Project Runway including many presser feet making it a very versatile sewing machine. Another owner stated she would rate it more than 5 stars if she could and many others said they can't believe how much they enjoy sewing now.
One reviewer of the Brother PC-420 Project Runway did have a problem with receiving two defective machines in a row. The first one wouldn't make a straight stitch regardless of how many adjustments where made and the replacement machine had a broken needle threader. Both machines where quickly returned and the 3rd machine has been working fine since. Another owner recommended only using good brand bobbins as the sewing machine is very sensitive and low quality bobbins will quickly jam up.
With all the positive reviews of the Brother PC-420 Project Runway we definitely recommend it as a great buy. With so many features included in the machine it represents an excellent value. This capable sewing machine is great for beginners who are new to sewing but know they will eventually get into it seriously or for the more experienced seamstress. This one machine will do it all.
