How do I feed the three layers through a walking foot for machine quilting?
I just installed the foot on my brother machine, and when I tried to use it the layered fabrics didn't move.
Answer:
If you are sure you installed the foot correctly (the little bar of the walking foot needs to attach to the screw part of the needle bar, so when the needle moves up and down the upper feed dogs will be engaged to move the fabric), check if you lowered the presser foot and have your feed dogs in the raised position. You also might want to check if you accidentally set your stitch length to zero.
